Tommy Jack is the lone homeless man living in Andover, Massachusetts. When the body of a missing woman turns up near Tommy's camp, the town assumes Tommy had something to do with her murder. Chief Louise Consola investigates and finds out that Tommy is innocent of this woman's death, but she comes to realize that Tommy is living with his own, dark secret. There's still a murderer on the loose, and the closer Louise gets to the truth, the more in danger she and the rest of the town is in.
