Possible Blurb for my upcoming book, Nika Irene Lazar

Nika Irene Lazar is the most famous basketball player in the Croatian Professional Women’s League. Outside forces foment trouble in her Slavik nation. Nika and her parents face death threats. Nika flees to America, accepting a scholarship to play ball at Big U in the nations’ heartland, but the extremists will stop at nothing to take out the woman being groomed by her country to be their prime minister one day.

  The extremists hire the “man in white” to kill Nika’s parents and then send him across the Atlantic to kill Nika.  When he gets to Big U, the man in white murders the wrong woman, a teammate of Nika’s who could pass for her twin sister.

  Nika learns of her friend’s murder while flying back from her parents’ funeral in Zagreb. She is enraged, vowing to kill the person who murdered her parents and then killed her teammate.

  The man in white is very good at what he does. Can Nika stay alive long enough to exact revenge on the man who has destroyed her family, or will the man in white put an end to the life of the most famous college basketball player in America?
